1.1. Personal data is information that DMM collects in order to complete an individual contract with the customer or for contact:
-phone number and email address;
-bank account number;
-cost of goods and services and data related to payments (purchase history);
- customer support data.
2. Why personal data are processed
2.1. Personal data are used to manage the customer’s orders and to deliver goods.
2.2. Purchase history details (date of purchase, goods, quantity, customer’s data) are used for preparing summaries of goods and services purchased and for analysing customer preferences.
2.3. The bank account number is used to reimburse payments to the customer.
2.4. Personal data such as email, phone number and the customer's name are processed to handle any issues relating to the provision of goods and services (customer support).
2.5. The IP address or other web identifiers of a user of the online store are processed for the provision of the online store as an information society service and for web use statistics.
2.6. To better serve the customer, DMM may disclose information about individual users to a third party who provides services to DMM online store and has agreed to keep the shared information confidential. The third party is, for example, our partner whose role is to transport goods sold in online store.
2.7. The collected personal data enables DMM to inform customers about news, campaigns and future events. Customer who does not want to receive our newsletter or receive notifications can remove themselves from the target audience at any time. The customer can refuse offers and newsletters sent by e-mail by e-mail or following the instructions in the e-mail containing the offers that appear in the footer of the message.
3. Legal grounds
3.1. Personal data are processed for the purpose of performing a contract concluded with the customer.
3.2. Personal data are processed for performing legal obligations (such as accounting and the settlement of consumer complaints).
4. Recipients of personal data
4.1. Personal data are transmitted to the customer support of the online store for managing purchases and purchase history and for settling any problems that the customers may have.
4.2. The name, telephone number and e-mail address are transmitted to the transport service provider selected by the customer. When the goods are delivered by a courier, the customer’s address is also transmitted together with the contact details.
4.3. If the accounts of the web store are kept by a service provider, the personal data are transmitted to the service provider for performing accounting operations.
4.4. Personal data may be transmitted to IT service providers if this is necessary for ensuring the functionality of the online store or for data hosting.
4.5. DMM will transmit customer personal data that is necessary for the execution of payments to the authorized processor, Maksekeskus AS.
5. Security and access to data
5.1. Personal data are stored in the servers of dmm.ee which are located on the territory of a member state of the European Union or states of the European Economic Area. Data may be transferred to the countries whose data protection levels have been assessed as adequate by the European Commission and to the companies in the USA who have joined the Privacy Shield framework.
5.2. Personal data can be accessed by the staff of the online store in order to settle technical issues related to the use of the online store and to provide customer support.
5.3. The online store takes appropriate physical, organisational and IT security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access and disclosure.
5.4. Personal data are transmitted to the data processors of the online store (such as the providers of transport and data hosting services) and processed under contracts concluded between the online store and the processors. The processors must ensure appropriate safeguards when processing personal data.
6. Access to and rectification of personal data
6.1. Personal data can be viewed and improved through online customer support email@example.com
7. Withdrawal of consent
7.1.Where personal data are processed on the basis of the customer’s consent, the customer has the right to withdraw his/her consent by notifying customer support by email.
8.1. Personal data are erased upon the closure of a customer account of the online store, unless the storage of the data is necessary for accounting purposes or for the settlement of consumer disputes.
8.2. For online purchases made without a customer account, the purchase history is stored for three years.
8.3. In the event of disputes concerning payments and consumer disputes, the personal data are stored until the claim is satisfied or until the end of the limitation period.
8.4. Personal data needed for accounting purposes are stored for seven years
9.1. For the erasure of the personal data, customer support must be contacted via email. requests of erasure are responded to no later than within one month and the period of erasure shall be specified.
10.1 Requests to transmit personal data submitted via email are responded to within one month. Customer support identifies the person and indicates what personal data are to be transmitted.
11. Direct marketing communications
11.1 Email address and phone number are used for sending direct marketing messages if the customer has given the respective consent. If the customer does not want to receive direct marketing messages, the customer should select the relevant link at the footer of the email or contact customer service.
11.2. Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the customer has the right to object at any time both to the initial and further processing of his/her personal data, including profiling related to direct marketing by notifying customer support thereof via email.
12.1. DMM may collect data about the visitors of web pages and other information society services using Cookies or other similar technologies (e.g., IP address, device information, location information) and process these data.
12.2. DMM uses the data collected to enable the provision of the service according to the visitor's or customers habits. The collected data is also used to count visitors and record their usage patterns.
12.3. Third parties, our advertisers / payment service providers may send cookies to you.
12.4 In the case of Cookies, the Visitors agree to use them on the Website, the Information Society Services settings, or the Web browser.
12.5 Most browsers allow you to opt out of all, but some browsers only opt out of third-party cookies. However, blocking all cookies will negatively influence the use of our e-store.
13. Dispute resolution
13.1. Disputes concerning the processing of personal data are settled through customer support (firstname.lastname@example.org). The supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (email@example.com).
